We at Karonia provide high quality surfacing solutions for both the residential and commercial sectors of the surfacing market.
We have a broad spectrum of customers that range from distributors of our branded products, to furniture manufacturers or material suppliers who use our sheet products for their own product ranges. We also work with construction companies and public sector providers on projects in the education and healthcare markets.
We work closely with all our partners to bring the best solutions to the end user whether they be home-owner, hospital patient, retail outlet, or school pupil.
Ethos
Karonia is a company born from a combination of experience and imagination, driven by the desire to deliver the exceptional solutions that solid surface can achieve. The realisation of this potential is brought to fruition from the point of inception, then through design and installation to the end user.
We do not believe in one size fits all but we do believe that by working closely with our distribution and supply partners we can deliver product ranges that are both flexible in application and logistically manageable.
The products we introduce are specified to suit their target market purpose. Examples of this include our solid surface worktops which are highly specified to offer a standard component that has the substance to avoid the necessity of a sink module to support an inset sink. This not only aids stockists but gives designers and installers a project limited only by their imagination.
We immerse ourselves in every phase of our products' route from manufacture to marketplace to ensure the end result is the very best it can be. Our underlying ethos of continuous improvement through innovation supports this with constant evaluation as to how distributors, sales teams, fabricators, and end customers work and use our products.

History
Like many companies throughout the world, Karonia is founded from the skills and experience of our team and the convergence of these assets creating an effective operation.
The seat of our experience dates back 20 years in the surfacing industry with work in the residential and commercial markets. The latter comprising a variety of applications including shop-fitting, healthcare and particularly in the education market.
Our time in education was based on a wider product offering which had at its heart a surfacing operation providing the varied surface solutions for all the different school environments including science laboratories, home economics, and computing classrooms.
With the surfacing came the hundreds and sometimes thousands of additional furniture items, and it was resolved that the best way to mobilise such a range was to identify and operate a global sourcing mechanism. The great variety meant that there was a wonderful cross-section of suppliers and regions which we experienced. From this we could build a healthy knowledge of worldwide logistics which helps us to best serve all our customers today.
With our surfacing expertise and the compliment of our sourcing knowledge we had the ideal combination to be able to offer a great deal to the surfacing market. Surfacing became our core, consolidating this with our customer centric approach using our abilities to source ancillary goods and services to give a complete and effective offering. And so, on these foundations, Karonia was born.
